Etienne Pajeot, based in Mirecourt, is regarded as one of the finest bow makers of his generation. He often innovated, developing models for self-rehairing bows as well as systems to reinforce certain parts of the bow such as the underslide and the inside of the mortise. He was very successful and always made sure to use the highest quality materials, thus making very fine bows.
The bow is a joy to play. It is exquisitely balanced and effortlessly produces a beautiful sound. On the high-end, it will bring out the clarity and sweetness while maintaining power and projection and on the low-end and middle strings, the sound is ample and resonant.
Pajeot's bows have universal appeal and are appreciated by both musicians and collectors. This example is in good condition at a very attractive price for an E. Pajeot violin bow.
